JEE Main 2018 or Joint Entrance Exam is largest Engineering Entrance Exam in india. which is conducted by Central Board of Secondary Education ( CBSE ) for admission to B.E./B.Tech & B.Arch courses. After clearing JEE Main 2018 candidates will be eligible to get admission to National Institute of Technology (NITs), Indian Institute of Information Technology (IIITs), Centrally Funded Technical Institutions (CFTIs). Candidate who wish apply to B.E./B.Tech course. have. to choose Paper 1 of JEE Main examination and who wish to apply B.Arch program have to choose paper 2 of JEE Main. The Paper-1 ( B.E/B.TECH ) of JEE (Main) will also be an eligibility test for the JEE (Advance) .

JEE Main 2018 Eligibility Criteria :
- candidate should have passed class 12th of CBSE or any state recognised Board.
- applying for B.E./B.Tech candidate must have class 12th with subject Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics.
- For admission they should have secured at least 75% marks in the 12th class examination, or be in the top 20 percentile in the 12th class conducted by the respective Boards.
- Candidate should have been born on or after October 1993. 5 years relaxation shall be provided in case of S.C./S.T./PWD Candidate (i.e DOB on or after 1st Oct 1988)
- Candidate who applying for B.Arch/B.Planning must studied Mathematics in 12th Class. They should score of 12th minimum 50% marks in five subjects.
- Total no. of 3 attempts will provided by JEE Main.
- Candidate who have appeared in JEE Main 2017 at the first time.they will be eligible for JEE Main 2018.
- Candidate who appearing in 12th Board Examination 2018. will be eligible for JEE Main 2018

JEE Main 2018 Pattern of Examination :
JEE Main conducted two different papers. it provide both papers details about covered Subject, marking scheme, number of question will be asked in JEE Main 2018

- Paper-1 is conducted for admission to B.E./B.Tech courses but Paper-2 is conducted for admission to B.Arch/B.Planning courses
- Paper-1 will be consist consist of Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics subjects but in Paper-2 30 question will be asked in Mathematics, 50 question in aptitude test and 2 question from drawing
- Examination mode of Paper-1 will be both online and offline mode but Paper-2 Examination conducted only offline mode.
- Both Paper-1 and Paper-2 candidate will awarded +4 marks for each correct answer, and -1 marks will be deduced for each wrong answer.
- Both Paper-1 and Paper-2 time duration of exam will be 3 hours.
- In Paper-1 only objective type question will be asked but in Paper-2 mathematics and aptitude test section contain will objective type question, and Drawing test will be subjective.
